I hear what you're saying about the ASBO kids, but most of the time, it's the fault of the parents not giving a damn. They let their kids run feral and blame everyone else.
The PM was more than willing to let that civil servant guy sacrifice his kids, but not his own.
I moan along with everyone else about paying the license fee, but the BBC do put on some cracking programmes and the commercial channels put on shite.

it cant be the end! torchwood had gone from being good to excellent ! children of earth was so well written , emotional and powerful, with brilliant acting, loved it but the end with everyone either getting killed of or racked with crippling guilt and leaving made it look like the show wont return? god i hope not
Never having seen any of the previous series, I was left at the end feeling that the entire run had been condensed into too few programmes. Does anyone else feel the same?

yes, would be better if they had added a few more episodes.....but they certainly left us wanting more
Wonder if the next series will involve Gwen having an alien baby...there was a tease at the end when she did say she had been on the pill all the time

Oh you did!! I had forgotten about the whole Gwen pregnancy by an alien episode.
In the past, in weekly episode was pretty much it's own episode, like Doctor Who. There were some carry overs - like Jack and Janto love affair and stuff like that.
The best part of this series, for me, is seeing how the government react. Yeah, I know it's fiction and all that, but I dare anyone to say they would do any different in the leaders' position and were able to protect their own children above any others.

yeah that's why i started the other thread...it was a real thought provoker wasn't it...and so many levelsTo make people (including myself) feel sympathetic to a government who was off murdering children takes some doing...he can be a bloody good writer than Russel T bloke
