Edit: My ancestors going back 3 generations were from India. We are Indo Mauritians, the Chinese Chino Mauritians, the Africans are called Creoles and the French Franco Mauritians.

My Hiroshima of an insult was from my ex-husband: "You have to understand that no man can ever love an ugly woman."

I delivered his belongings in bin liners to him and his latest fling at their office shortly after that. Big Grin

I would have burnt them!Mad

Actually, someone once told me I should have a sign up on my door saying 'beware of the dog' (I don't have a dog Frowner) It was supposed to be a joke. At that time I laughed, then after doing my first half marathon the same guy said 'did you run all the way?' I said 'yes' and he said 'why could you not catch up with the pie van' again this was a joke. Funnily enough after a few years of his jokes I never speak to the sad fugger now.

Ahhh ... he peaked at that one Leccy. Big Grin

And Shaks - nah...I was very good. Not even one little snip with the scissors.

As it happens I discovered recently that a work colleague's bro-in-law worked for the same company. When I mentioned this he replied "You're HER?! We still rip the piss out of him about it." So I guess it's still being rubbed in. Devil

He was still a dick though for saying what he did!

Of the many, many, many varied insults slung at me by ex-husband during the soul-destroying years of the living hell that we laughingly called a marriage, there's one that always sticks in my mind.

We were having a massive argument in the kitchen - smashed crockery, screaming, swearing, dreadful insults - when in the midst of all the mayhem he called me a 'spineless frog'. It stopped me in my tracks.

I still, 30 years later, sometimes think 'spineless frog' ?????? why?? really annoying because I still don't know quite what he meant...............

I know ... it was all his stuff, including his motorcycle helmet which I perched on top of the pile. And I left my business card just in case they were in any doubt who I was. Red Face Big Grin

As it happens he's still with her and they now have two toddlers and I hope he's happy and contented and stays that way.

Nahhh..they have two little ones. I'd not want them to grow up with a once a week dad like mine did.
They say the best revenge is a life well lived. I think - all things considered - mine is pretty damn good right now. Cool
