Now I feel like to have been paying attention to the threads. I must make a note to self to check how many posts have been made in your threads before deviating

Cheers Soozy, i thought it might be quite a few posts before I got a real answer!

Now see - I can have F&C whenever I want. i rarely do ............I might tonight though - I'll give Mt Woo a ring to see what goodies he's got. Haddock is 95% of our market but - on Fridays he often has some nice Plaice or Skate. If he's being very dare devil he might sneakily buy a bit of Rock - most locals here would be mortified

Oddly enough although Cod is the most common in UK chippies - people round here won't touch it.

Is that OT enough for you EC?

I was hoping for an in-depth discussion and in particular your thoughts on "multiple steps toward the quantum singularity".

But I'm OK with all the fish information... Oh and I do enjoy a nice piece of fresh cod.

So what's everyone having for lunch

Fish and chips for me

I've been to a cafe bar and had a chicken breast burger with a rasher of bacon in a bun, coleslaw and fries. With a cup of extra hot coffee as it is freezing out there.

Well - I do quite like Claire and H - was never keen on Faye and Lisa Scott Lee and the other guy was a bit meh. Never got to see all of the reunion programmes but I have to confess to enjoying the few I did.

Will that do?

Yes .............. we live near one if not THE biggest fishing port in the UK - locals (lots with a fishing heritage) won't touch Cod - only eat Haddock. Something to do with bottom feeders I think

I'm not a big fish eater and lived most of my life down South - never thought I'd prefer Haddock to Cod but I do now.

I'm just about to make Tuna paninis in time for the kids coming home.  I haven't had breakfast or lunch yet so I might have one aswell.

I've been very, very naughty - just got an attack of the munchies and wolfed down five Maryland Cookies with my cup of tea. I'm all cross with myself now

I'm not too fussed about that. Not sure it would do me much harm, especially as I only have fish a few times a year. I tend to have more tuna and salmon than cod.

I would be more worried about milk. The amount of drugs pumped into cows to keep them healthy is quite disturbing. Most people drink milk everyday and have milk in other products.

Usually cod, but sometimes Pollock. If the are labelled just 'fish' then it's theminced up left overs of everything and is generally a greyish colour and (IMO) doesn't have a good flavour.
