My littlest goes tomorrow, so I've done Tesco, helped her pack, rather bizarrely have helped a friend try and capture the great crested newts in our pond to transfer them to his and cooked a scrummy 'last supper'.

I'm looking forward to not doing things on Sunday

What was the last supper? I need to know these things

That looks flipping scrummy Rexi! I've saved that to my favourites.

I haven't done anything since May.

That's okay. I'm thinking Gilbert's salami instead. Need to eat sooooo bad now!

Awww where do I start?

I haven't hoovered the landing and I've a visitor coming soon.

I haven't sorted the basket of clothes that I was supposed to do 2 days ago and now there's 2 loads of washing dried that also need sorting now aswell

There are way too many other things to list but I'm hungover and don't want to make myself feel any worse by listing how lazy I am.

OMG when my sister shows up here unexpectedly I die inside.  She has the most beautiful, gleaming home and you could eat your dinner off any surface in her place.

I, on the other hand, am a messy bugger with 3 males in the house and way too much crap scattered everywhere

I feel for you Ells

My house is clean but not sparkling.  I have lots of furniture and nick-nacks (mainly of the penguin persuasion)  whereas she has a minimalist home.  She'll grab the dishes before you've even finished eating to get them washed   and I'm sure she runs her finger along the mantle piece to make sure I've dusted

Pengy, some of us just aren't made for keeping a spick and span home!

Although I've had one of those weeks where I just keep cleaning and I'm preparing places for redecorating so I've dumped loads and the place looks good.  However, no bugger has visited me this week but you can bet your ass as soon as I have 'one of those days' there will be 2 or 3 visitors who always seem to land when the place isn't looking the best.

Oh well

Awwwwwww Rexi - is your baby leaving for Uni?

My son has been home for the weekend - we were just reminicsing about when he left for Uni eleven years ago, my daughter left for Uni the following week - I lost two at the same time. It was just days after 9/11 and it was just such a horrible time - I was bereft for a while. Then four months later my grandson was born and we had a French girl stay for a year. Oh the changes.

As for what I should be doing today is packing/or at least preparing to pack for my holiday on Tuesday. I can only find one of Mr Woos flip flops and only one of my beach/swimming shoes so I've just sort of given up.
