If I'm "poshing" it up for an evening meal, I add a fried egg and a little grated cheese.

Classy
mmmmmmmm!!!
Today so far I've planted some stuff in the shack garden , removed a hammer from the roof ( place got reroofed a few months ago, and they must have left it up there! ) and just smiled a lot cause I love it here.
Now I'm thinking about food ( cheers EC for that! )

Your welcome
Why you going cinema on your own? Wave to lil AIms she's on her way there as well

I often go on my own. I like the fact that I don't have someone asking questions every five minutes. Oh and I go around 10am so as to avoid annoying crowds and too much chomping and slurping - food/drink is not a place for the cinema.
I was asking my daughter why she has to start work at 9am because who goes to the cinema that early, now I know it's you I agree about the food, surely your not going to starve during the length of the film, I'm surprised by how people spend on food, my daughter was telling me someone spent nearly ÂĢ50 on hot dogs, drinks and popcorn at her till the other day
Cinema food is a rip off. I used to go to the cinema all the time on my own. One time I went to see Hellraiser and the cinema was heaving. I finally found the last seat in the auditorium right next to an ex who was out on a date with his new girl
While I'm here, we've done nothing but watch movies today.
Crash (the good one not the pervy James Spader one)
Frankenweenie
and currently watching
Killing Them Softly
Awkward I'm shocked at some of the things she tells me, when she was little I used to take her to the shop before going in to get pick and mix and then buy some popcorn at the cinema. But she sold over 2 grand at her till the other day, the food looks plastic to me there's no way I'd spend ÂĢ50 on junk food
I'm watching Atheletics not eaten yet but can't decide what to have, lil Aims has gone for a carvery (twins will be jealous) and then to the cinema, you'd think she'd be sick of the place
Very awkward. Another time I'd taken the boy to see Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It was a Sunday morning and we were the only 2 in the auditorium, then about 10 minutes in this guy tootles in with his child and where does he sit? RIGHT NEXT TO ME! Why? He had the whole auditorium to choose from.
What you going to see?

I hate that when people do that on the bus and they always smell
I once had a chap sit behind me on the bus and he poked a finger through the gap at the bottom of the seat and tickled my bottom.

I always sit next to someone particularly if it is not busy. I then give it a stop or two before asking them what they know about metal wire coat hangers.

I did too Aimee (I don't normally watch them electing to switch channels, this time for some unspeakable reason I didn't).
All I got from it was her Dad was from Yorkshire, which not surprisingly interested me for about 10 seconds.
It was a boring one this week

I am rattled to the core !!!
Horse AND cow sharing a field !!!
Now - i'm no expert but ... either this lot have a special arrangement cos the horse has something over the cows.
Or ... the horse is gay and poses no threat to the cow herd.
Or ... the cows 'own' that horse.
I have been engaged in a four letter activity today.
... and it aint fun.
You're being ridiculous now
TBH I don't take much notice where she was from, the story just didn't grip me

ETA. Including typing a sensible comment.
What's so bad about the animals living in one field?
GJ, my dad has/had (not sure if its still in his possession) a piece of the original Stockton to Darlington rail line. Why he had it I don't know but he was very proud of it, it lived on the hearth of my childhood home for years.
Xochi, you may have seen my brother in law on the telly he's a groundsmen at Durham CC and I often spot him lurking around the boundary line.
