Cut the lawn and chopped down some bushes, didn't cook a roast as daughter was going out for lunch, she's just got back and hasn't eaten 

I had a slip today 

Went to HQ, took Mum for dinner, a quick run around the charity shops, Morrisons, watched some cricket, back to supervise generation four, bike ride, tellybox, booze, etc.

Had plans to take the narrowboat out, but the rain came....so stayed in the flat & made soup!

 

Been looking at Kitchens and Bathroom suites.

Almost all day.

 

Saturday I spent a couple of hours trimming my front bush and getting all of the rubbish out from underneath it. It was such a big job my arms were aching yesterday. 

 

Today has been work, looking out of the window sighing and working on my ancestry project. I found a possible match amongst the criminal records, which could relate to either my great great great grandfather or my great great uncle, the charge 'manslaughter'.  However they were acquitted with the record stating 'no bill'.

 

 

I really had to double take and re-read this just in case you were making a joke, but blimey Cinds it reads like a cheeky 70's sitcom.

 

 

 

You know me, I will strive to make anything in to a double entendre. (Obviously I do have a level of appropriateness - just)

Just trying to find out where the line is 

I put too much faith in the iPhone met office app and predicted a rain free bike ride for Mrs Jer and I. At the furthest point away from home things turned nasty and we were drenched. Otherwise I calculated her VAT figures.

 

So far I have reconciled four months of Mastercard statements and slips. Have just been invited out for a spot of lunch, so will do that, quick food shop and then back to the paperwork and house cleaning.

VAT and bank reconciliation, sounds like my life if you throw in pay roll in to the mix too.

Mrs Jer has me on a zero hour contract, so no payroll hassle here. Just the VAT.

Household jobs.....and soon Im off to Pwyll Du with my dog and a good friend for a swim.The sun has returned after two days of torrential rain.I deserve an afternoon on the beach.

No, I just do all of our company accounts and then pay a nice accountant £1000 to sign off our year end.  I've been toying with the idea of qualifying myself, but it's just getting around to it.

Oh I get paid, I just never see the money.  That Mr Cinds is a right tyrant of a boss, but the sexual harassment in the office is well worth it. 

Thought we would have a quiet trip out to Redcar. Held up badly after the highway number nineteen crash, the fair is in, and we have been surrounded by Teesside's finest. " yer said yer were looking after the f*****g kids yer c***" That was their catchphrase.

Housework, shopping, cooking, gardening and cleaning out the tropical fish tank.

He loves it 

We've been to York on the train. Managed to get a decent meal in Fenwicks for a change like. Grilled Haloumi salad with a dressing to die for. Then we shared a rather large fruit meringue. The charity shop industry continues to suffer rampant inflation.

 

Woke, switched on the TV, stayed in bed, watched TV programme, jumped out of bed and brushed teeth, drawn a bath and typed this up... off to take my bath.

Eating a cream tea for breakfast

 

Had the bath and just made two fried eggs. Mmmm.

 

A week ago now . . .

Sunday - drove down to London.

Monday - Windsor Castle and Eton.

Tuesday - Buckingham Palace and 3hr open top bus trip around London.

Wednesday - Palace of Westminster and London Zoo.

Thursday - Henley on Thames river boat cruise.

Friday & Saturday - Longleat Safari Park.

Sunday - drive home.
