7hr shift passed off quite nicely

We popped across to Whitby this afternoon.
Hit the charity shops, rowbothams, booze buster, and the Royal pretty damn hard.
The highlight was being sat sitting next to a table full of lazy political analysts in the Royal. I was dying to say something but Mrs Jer kept kicking me under the table.

I went shopping for a new suite.    I went back to the shop I was in a month ago - and I'd written down prices at that time.    A sofa priced at £999 is now £1899.. and chair that was £739 is now £1400.     I asked if the shop had changed hands and commented on the price increase and was told 'oh yeah.. we're having a sale in a fortnight and you've got to show the higher price before you can call it a sale.   I don't agree myself, i think it's er....'    I said 'Dishonest is the word you're looking for...'     Back to t'internet then - I'll source it there and get the competing shop to quote me.

My local Costa (in Waterstones) has closed, but will be resurrected as a Cafe W. Waterstones version of of a coffee shop.

 

So my Sunday coffee will be taken in Caffé Nero as was Saturday's. The coffee is better in my opinion.

 

I am however invited out with the staff of my old coffee shop for a few drinks and a meal tonight. 

 

 

 

 

Had a wonderful time ^ last night.

 

 

 

The weather has again been lovely! We took the spare bikes out on a quick 90 minute run. I spent a leisurely lunch following Toots and baiting UKIP members on Facebook.
Now we are psychologically preparing for the grandsons.

however we wasnt being romantic

but next door was having a HUGE fight & we were both jostling for prime 'hearing position' at the wall

Cut down the lavender in our garden - I stink of it now

 

Went to Morrisons - didn't see Cinds though

maaaan, shes vile next door

she's a social worker for kids & has just slung her bloke & his young son out

she did it at xmas aswell

funny people these social workers

i'd confront her but shes massive & would probably smack me into next week

Rog! I don't think my instructor would say that! She gave me some very good pointers and i just did it (was the same with the bay parking too)

Worked a 14hr shift then did a sleep over - then worked another 8hr shift

Travelled down to that London. Just paid more than seven poond for a decaf and small sandwich. I could of/'ave/have bought five bottles of OSH for that elsewhere.
