I'm excited by property. Did you get a value which matches your expectation?

Exciting times for you.

yep.. got two valuations, one guy thinks he could probably get a few thousand more than the other.   I don't have anywhere to go though.. so I was sussing out what is the best way to do it.  Consensus seems to be put it on the market and if it sells only agree to a 'mutually agreed date' and hope I find something quick.   Worst case is I make them wait too long and they back out, but then I'm no worse off.    I'm pretty specific about what I want and where though, so I don't want to risk finding somewhere before I've sold and then losing out to someone who isn't part of a chain.   My mind is  tonight!

Do you have friends or family you could stay with if you get a buyer but your prospective property is not quite ready for you to move into (assuming you find one of course).

That's what I'm thinking of doing. Hoping to move in with family while I find my next place so the I can sell or rent my current place.

I could if it was only for a few weeks (well, I could for as long as I wanted really, but I like my own space and any longer than that would do my head in!)   so I'd only do it if I had a place I'd had an offer accepted on, I wouldn't do it while I was waiting for my perfect place to come on the market     I was assured that the estate agent won't mind if I keep having buyers pull out because I'm not ready to move - and it's just a one off fee, even if it's on the market for years...

I too like my own space and would be able to endure a few weeks or a couple of months maximum while I was moving to a new place.

I don't have my place on the market as I would ideally like to rent it out and then take out some equity to help move to a new place. I have seen my ideal place and it's on the market, the problem is I am not in a position to move as yet.

The good thing is my flat is in a popular renting area and I could get between ÂĢ550-ÂĢ600 per calendar month.

So we went to the zoo.

And it was good fun.

Childish stamping in puddles and soaking one another - but lots of laughter and a great day.

Never seen a "false tomato frog" before!

Glad to hear you two had a good time.

I've never seen a frog like that either, although not hard to miss

... thanks folks.. but today I unsold it!

Would be buyer was aware I didn't have anywhere to go yet - and is trying to force me into a stupidly short entry date, so I said thanks, but no thanks.    I'm like you, EC, not in a particular hurry so move so I'm prepared to wait until all the stars are aligned and it's just right!    She was being a smart arse.. tried offering a stupid low price to begin with, then agreed my bottom price but wanted in in five weeks (and it's for her son who's a first time buyer and has a place to stay in the meantime - so could easily wait)   Given that I've been looking since September and seen nada - I'm not prepared to put myself in that position.   I'm a great believer in fate - it'll all come right in the end.

i hope.

I do too.. I really want someone else to buy it now, I don't want to sell to her any more!

Went to Slimming World ........gained one and a half pounds

Went to my IT class finishing up the Data Base module.

Nipped into Marks for a sandwich, low cal moussaka, grapes and bananas.

Popped to my mums on the way home and cleaned her windows and hung her new net curtains which I got her as one of her birthday pressies.

Came home - did a bit of book work - made two pies for Mr Woo - one for tonight (when he gets in from chess club) and one for tomorrow.

Gonna put some washing on in a min.
