Aww, poor Rents

i have been for coffee with a friend and picked up all her windfall apples. Spent two hours peeling them. Have frozen them in small portions to have on my porridge for the next month!

then I made a HUGE pot of cauliflower, sweet potato and chick pea curry. TBH, it's a bit too hot. I'm going down town in a bit to get my eyebrows waxed (can't really see well enough to pluck them myself anymore, or maybe I am just too lazy!). Will whizz into the shop to get some plain yoghurt to take the heat out of the curry.

Kids to school, back to bed till 11. Got up to find there was a local powercut so back to bed til 12.  Got up and cleaned up, packed up some ebay stuff.  Collected youngest from school, went to post office and then did some day-to-day shopping.  Made 2 dinners (one for OH and youngest, one for me and the eldest), cleaned up, helped with homework and am now catching up on some Breaking Bad.

I took the train from darlo to kings cross.
I had a chat with a gadjie from Bathgate.
I managed to get through the customs and searching.
Chatted up an Argentinian woman.
Got my last train at Brussels South station.
Booked into my best western hotel.
Ate veal escalope in liege town centre
I met a young woman whose body was burning
I met a young girl, she gave me a rainbow
I met one man who was wounded in love
I met another man who was wounded and hatred
And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Some of this isn't true but there's nowt on the tellybox.

Since you ask so nicely. Yesterday I made my way first class ( it worked out cheaper in advance) from liege to Hannover, spending a short time in Cologne. The Saturday afternoon match turned out to be a Friday night game so I've seen it. Try to imagine two opposing teams but both managed by Gus Poyet. Thus a slick passing game but players falling down for no apparent reason all over the pitch, and cheating even more than the Bavarians. When Hannover scored beer went flying and as a result I've just cycled to the wasch salon and back. I am now going for some food and then will probably cycle to the little town of Pattensen, home of the Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker.
