I went to look at wheelchair hire and try a few out with me Mum.

 

Stopped off at a Deli for some lovely paninis

 

Watched Bartoli and Lisicki win their respective tennis games. Yay.

 

 . . . and now i'm off for a 20mile bike ride (and hoping the hayfever holds up).

Not much..dog, shopping, five press ups and a star jump, some bible reading, the crime ideas class and I made a trifle.

Got a folding travel wheelchair earlier this year and it's great for getting the boss places she couldn't reach on days out etc. £37.50 ebay but the actual one's advertised in these wee shiny shopping supplements they stick in the likes of Saturdays Express for £50 which is a great price itself. Lightweight checked cloth seats - does the job no problem

I cut my finger and it's still bleeding so I think I need a stitch in it

We are in Liege. Just had a few beers and a meal. Now back in the hotel.

I drove through Liege a couple of times... looked like worth a visit but I never did. Enjoy your hols Mr and Mrs Carport. 

Just about to get on a train. We will then, if I can say it so as not to offend, explore Cologne, as it were.

ION we went to a beach party on top of a multistorey car park. Sand, beer, deckchairs, armchairs, beer, and er, choons. Then we got to the Greek for beer, ouzo, and the tagesmenu, cheapskate as I am.

 

Nowt yet, but out for some coffee and a bit of shopping later, picking up some chocolate and then sitting down to the only sporting event worth watching today and that is the German F1 Qualifying.

The Germans are more excited about one of their chicks being in the tennis or summat.

TBH GJ, I am relatively clueless when it comes to Tennis, Golf, Cricket, Rugby, Snooker.

 

I am only interested in Football and F1... and cheese rolling.

We are off out on our bikes, our other favourite sport!

We cycled for about seven hours. Even with constant sun screen application we are bronzed beyond belief. Stopped off at the flea market to buy my mum some mother of pearl clipon earrings. Later at night a BBQ, and then a wobble home through the city.
