Ok Baz
But it is a failed theory. It has been disproven I'm afraid.
I felt that other people viewing the video clip would be drawn to the same person in the choir as I was.
I thought I would not need to point the singer out, but that instinctively the viewer would be drawn to that person.
Partly because (even just by looking) you can see the accuracy of the singing, you can tell which part (of the 4) they are singing, the slight movement of the head shows the singers  involvement - not only technically but emotionally.
And Lo!
I am wrong.
Not one other person was drawn to the same singer.

Yes Lori.  That's the guy I meant.
However I suppose I have learnt (as if I didn't aready know) that not everyone sees things as I do. I wanted to test it out, though, because I felt it quite strongly.  On a positive note, perhaps it makes me unique.
I am interested that you sing in a group Lori.
Multi talented indeed!

Nothing wrong with unique!

Yes, I've been in this particular group for 10 years.  It's a community group, and we sing everything from Christmas music (at the appropriate time, of course ) to classical, to pops.  Our upcoming concert features music from Disney movies.  We go all in:  lights, sets, costumes, dancing, etc.

you ALL hold music or NONE of you do
Too distracting any other way.  That's why, sometimes when MOST of us have our music memorized, we still have to hold it because not everyone does.  It's a bummer--I much prefer performing w/out the music.

So, brisket:  Why'd you pick THAT choir?  Some association?

No Lori. No connection with me.
I found it on YouTube quite by chance.
I liked their togetherness, accuracy and spirited performance of a lovely tune.
More than that I was uplifted by some of the comments that went with the video - referring to the inspiration of the choirmaster, and the many, many students he has helped and inspired over the years.
An emotional and inspiring teacher is a wonderful thing I believe.
Then I was drawn to 'Mr Blue Shirt' who (in my head) appeared to be displaying a smashing enthusiasm and what looks like very accurate timing. Because I know the music I could tell he was singing bass. He seemed to be feeling it. All this caused me to enjoy it more.
I hate technically accurate with feeling. I love heartfelt music.
So I found it by chance, I have been inspired, and I love it.
