What happens in the streets of your village / town / city?
We have
> Occasional Farmers Markets

>  Buskers. Intermittently we have:
A group of people who look as if they are direct from the Andes, who play pan pipes, guitar, bass and drums.

A man who plays bagpipes.

A singer/guitarist who likes Dylan.

A saxophonist who cannot play and just does random notes. (No it's not jazz improvisation; it is random notes.)

I haven't seen the accordionists for some time.

> People who harass and accost you, plaguing and pestering you to answer questions, or much more aggressively  to change your energy supplier.

> By far the worst, for me, is one of the Big Issue sellers.
For some reason he calls out "Buuuuuurg Isssuuuuuuue"  I don't know why he says 'berg' instead of 'big'.  He bellows it non-stop, barely a second between each yell, like a looped tape.
As you walk past you will have heard " buuuuuurg  Issuuuuuuue" half a dozen times.
I could do him serious damage.

> I notice that people who want to sell you Sky, or RAC, or energy, or insurance or other bargains, are always on their mobile phone.

brisket,
Gloucester is similar to yours but has regular weekly markets. Has buskers, some OK, some not so OK, and there used to be one who thought he could sing but couldn't and people kept away from him because it was painful to hear.

Cheltenham also has weekly markets. The buskers tend to be a-grade buskers as you would expect in Cheltenham. Some of them tend to be trained classical musicians. And during the literary and music festivals, you can get a+-grade buskers.

In our nearest town the usual stuff ......buskers, farmers market, pan pipers, big issue etc

IN OUr village we have the fun run once a year, the rememberance day march and a fancy dress parade on the day of the church garden party.

And believe it or not in this day and age (with plenty of special bins about) WE HAVE QUite a lot of dog poo

There are only 2 streets in our village. We have a school, a pub, a church and a village hall, but nothing else. The village hall has a quiz night every Saturday, you have to bring your own alcohol. My street is a cul-de-sac and leads to the back entrance of the primary which means lots of annoying mothers parking in our spaces, other than that, it's lovely here.

That is selfish. It is so easy to pick up and dump (see what I did there?) these days
I sometimes wonder how much and how long it takes people to change their bad habits.
Maybe owners - and unattended dogs - have pooed  anywhere for years, , but that  is no excuse these days.
