Today I am Birthday lunching with a friend so it is going to be something from the specials board no doubt. Looking at it as I write it could be...

 

Soup - Carrot and Corriander withbrown bread

 

Or

 

Homemade pie of pork and black pudding and cider

 

Or

 

A Rosti with a choice of either BBQ pulled pork or streaky bacon and brie or chorizo manchego or tomato, garlic and chilli sausage. 

 

Hang on... she just changed the soup to carrot and ginger - could be the winner.

 

 

 

 

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities

I've stopped eating bread for the time being to help shed a few pounds. I do love bread but I do think it's a bit addictive (for me) - it kind of triggers carb cravings - not good on Slimming World regime.

 

My lunches this week have been lean meats, hard boiled eggs, low fat cheese (tiny amount) and pickled onions, gherkins etc.

 

Lots of fruit too.

 

Weigh in on Monday - we'll see if it has any success.
