Jeeze.. I can't remember!   I think it was a Nissan Sunny - but the first car I started learning in (a mate's) was an Austin Allegro - bright metallic green.   I must have made a lasting impression, my current car is the limey green colour Fiesta (hence the av )    When I passed my test I had a powder blue and rust coloured Vauxhall Chevette estate.

My mil had a white Triumph Herald, soft top. The first time I went to Scotland from Germany in 1975, we borrowed the car (in winter), roof down and wrapped up all the way to Fort Williams. Great times.

Hi Cologne Yes.... mine would have been the early 70's...

It was, but it was great. I remember all the stops we made, especially Oban, Loch Lomond and Erskine Bridge.
