Played it at work today and now at home.
GJ - If you are seeing too many Carnelians, I bring you Karma Chameleon.
Belter..
Just been told about these. Someone I know, the pub he goes into....barman's nephew
Was just listening to Jim Kerr of Simple Minds being interviewed on Radio 2. They played the song below which I believe is new and I thought "what a cracking song" Will buy the album just for this tune alone.
Sound quality is not the best as it is a live recording. I thought the studio version sounded a lot better. But you get an idea of the tune.
To follow the new tune above I've put on an old favourite.
A rare combination for me, a song and video combination I really love.
I'm watching Made in Dagenham at the mo with music from the sixties. Just heard Wooly Bully and it made me think of this one. As a very young child I was good friends with the Jamaican kids next door but one. Used to go to the parties - they were a riot. Never understood this one at the time.
This is a new release and when I heard it on the radio I had to pull over and "Shazzam" it.
John Grant - Pale Green Ghosts.
I absolutely love it and will be buying the album just for this song.
Twitter is allegedly launching a standalone music app using technology from a recent acquisition.
The microblogging giant is said to have bought out music discovery firm We Are Hunted last year and is developing its own service based on its technology, CNETreports.
The so-called Twitter Music app, which makes personalised song recommendations based on who the user follows, has been tipped for release on iOS devices by the end of the month.
Powered by SoundCloud, Twitter Music has been touted as a competitor to the likes of Pandora and Spotify, as well as Apple and Google's rumoured music streaming platforms.
We Are Hunted was launched by a team of Australian developers in 2009, as a means of enabling users to stream music and compile playlists on social media and discover new music via its native apps.
The We Are Hunted web-based service appears to have been taken down recently.
The launch of a standalone music service would see Twitter take another step towards becoming a fully-fledged media operation, following the launch of its Vine video app earlier this year.
Twitter is yet to officially announce Twitter Music.
It's 1979, it's live and it's raw.
