Came across this today and had it on repeat all day long !!
Artist: Biosphere
Track: Genkai-1
Album: N-Plants
Jah Wobble & Bill Laswell - I like the combo..
Just heard this as part of a soundtrack.
Hahaha! Yet again a bit of a soundtrack. I'm doing catch-up tonight! No visuals on this so the black screen is what you get.
This. Gets me every time.
Don't think I've seen any Skinny Puppy upped on here.
You clearly have impeccable taste in music Enthusiastic Contrafibularitie. I adore Skinny Puppy and was lucky enough to see them live. They was awesome.

Thank you Comrade, I can imagine they were awesome. They do have an energy to their music. What made me post was I had chatted with a mate who like me got into Skinny Puppy many years ago. Assimilate was one of our favourites. So I hunted it down to listen to, in the process I came across a live version, which I think you will appreciate having seen them...

I love that performance. Was much later when I saw them (2010) but they still have it.
Another classic...
I'm sure I repeat myself so much in this thread, so apologies.
Equally I think this was posted probably only a few pages ago by me! Sorry if so.

Hey Xochi.. don't apologise, I bet we all do it, I forget what I've posted.
Besides I remember this from a recent BBC "Brittania" programme which as very enjoyable.

Agreed Comrade, I do like that song as well. I would be interested in other bands of a similar style which you like (I always like to be educated musically). there are some other bands I am starting to explore one being Hocico (Bite Me is below).
For some reason I can't link these vids
The first tune by Hocico I heard is Espinas Del Mal

Cabaret Voltaire - Theme From Earthshaker
The Danse Society - Clock
This is currently playing in my car, on cassette (my car only has a cassette player). Originally recorded to cassette from 7" vinyl - old school.
Just read donks doesn't take to Who that much. I get that to a large degree but this was anthemic to me at the time. I'm now much less patient about them and will feel mildly embarrassed when they perform in the Olympic closing ceremony.
I'll reserve judgement Xochi until I see how they perform
They come and go - but you get it or you don't...
So I don't know if this counts as music but it does for me. The language is very lyrical and I guess that's what it should be about.
Inspired by the classical theme, I have included a nice piano piece.
