@Saint it's been a slow creep of additional duties. The original job was great, interesting and I looked forward to work. But it's getting to the point now that it's a struggle to get things done, I'm not enjoying it and have already told the boss I will be gone in 18 months if I don't find something else in the dept that interests me. The 18 months is to allow for some potential restructuring and increase in numbers, giving me the opportunity to move. Also, in the public sector, things move at a glacial pace, so to me that sounds like a reasonable timeframe.
