EC, I've just bought the Numan album but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. It was only delivered yesterday

I certainly hope you enjoy it @Sprout. I have been a fan since around 1979 whilst a schoolboy.
Read the comments underneath this vid (for the most part) Brilliant, Gary. She's a star in the making.....and with your guidance.......
And when my light burns out ......

Sprout - I watched this the other day having found it during a search.
The way she grasps the mic she looks so nervous, a brave thing to go out and sing in front of so many at such a young age.
She did well though did you hear him at the end.....Pension
I listened to all that album yesterday and I have to say it's good
A blog by him about the new image and why. Interesting reading....all about how we are killing the earth
I have been listening to the soundtrack all day at work. Really brings back the feeling of the film. I now hear the 'nods' to Vangelis.
RIP
Having just heard The Stereophonics pump out some bland, run of the mill, wallpaper faux indie pop rock on The One Show I was in desperate need of some real talent in the form of a gritty number by The Human League who, even on a bad day, can p*ss all over The Stereophonic - IMO.
Eric Satie brought me here!
No music - just words
I couldn't stand this bland sound any more so I walked towards my deck to turn it off
All I could see was the b-side of the disc which had assumed a doughnut shape with the label on the outside rim
I reached for the arm which was less than one micron long but weighed more than Saturn and time stood still
I knew I had to escape but every time I tried to flee, the record was in front of me
Liking your Rockford Files post. What made you post it?

I picked up a cheap boxset of the first season (which i'm currently enjoying) - flicking through the recent posts on this thread last night I ended up on YT (as you do) and searched for a "full" version of the theme tune.

Nice one I do enjoy watching these old shows.
I am playing this a lot at the moment. I think it's just classic Orbital.
A sort of guilty'ish pleasure
