For Velvet - The man has come around Welcome back
Cool vibe (said in an ironic sixties way) Cold Sweat! Sounds like the sort of thing Tarantino would put in one of his soundtracks.
Superb tune Carnelian.
The first time I heard this song is was by Rotary Connection featuring Minnie Riperton. Loved it ever since and I also own the Nuyorican Soul version as well.
EC, didn't know this version and after hearing it I can't decide which I like the most, either way, thanks for this reply and I'm definitely going to add this to music. Thanks for posting!
There's something in your soul that makes me feel so old
In fact I think I've died about six hundred times
There's less of me now and more of me then
I'm moving back to the age of men
Jump off the tarmac there's no stagecoach speed limit
Outside the office hangs the man on the gibbet
Soft lenses
Grow to glasses
Small world
Dimly seen through cataracts
Your program
Newspaper
So they say
Rumour spread by word of mouth
Jump onto the escalator
Press the button on the lift
Raise the dust on old stair carpets
Endless treads like waves of regret
Now it seems I'm going madder
Falling off this rotting ladder
Soft lenses
Grow to glasses

Dimly seen through cataracts
Jump onto the escalator
Press the button on the lift

Now it seems I'm going madder

Your welcome.
That is the beauty of a thread like this for me, I have found a number of songs posted by FM's that I was pleased to be made aware of, Velvet Donkey has turned me onto a couple to name an FM. In fact I'm going to post it.
This post goes out to Velvet Donkey, a great tune that now plays regularly on my Youtube channel. Thanks for turning me onto it.
A few years ago I was spending a great deal of time hanging out with a girl and this song came into my life, it became 'her' song.
At the time I wanted to paint the stars for her.
Oh dear, I'm getting emotional just writing this and hearing the song - time for some Front 242 to change my mood.
BTW, does anyone else feel that Jimi Tenor is channeling Prince in the vocals?
Yes, I know we are heading into the dark depths of winter but I just felt the need for a bit of Roy Ayers magic. After all, who doesn't like a drop of sunshine?
As soon as this kicks off I just wanna dance to the funky rhythm. You're a bad motha Mr Brown - that ain't no lie.
If you have 11 minutes and 14 seconds to spare you will not regret listening to this version of The Look of Love. I think it's a great version.
I am not even going to attempt to find the character for this chap's name. Suffice to say I feel like I am moving into a late evening electronic phase.
There are parts of this song that just make me think '1970'. If anyone else listens to this and gets a similar feeling - tell me your thoughts.

I like a drop of Roy Ayers sunshine or not!
I have not posted any Boards of Canada for a while and this is one of my favourites. I just love BOC. As the saying goes, for me they can do no wrong.
I know few Bjork fans, shame as she produces some great music, this being one I play lots.
I love how one song takes you on a path to another. I really enjoyed the early part of Goldfrapp's output, quite cinematic in places. The chorus is just superb on this track.
I think that when Goldfrapp wrote the song above, they may have been listening to this little gem from Henry Mancini.
This I love. The song and especially the dancers. They all seem to be doing the same dance, but eat has their take. My favourite part of the clip is around three minutes in when the track goes all Aphex Twin and the girls freestyle it. Marvellous stuff.
This is my last post of the evening. Last week I was hunting for something to listen to whilst at work on my computer, I wanted music that did not make me sing or pull my attention away from my computing. I found Nordic Ambient. Although I have never seen the show, this is what I would imagine is played in Game of Thrones episodes.
Anyway, it's ambient, dark and I think very good. I'm kinda hooked on it.
You really should watch GOT EC it's brilliant with boobs thrown in to boot!
You might like this? It's the Vikings series 3 soundtrack.... You should watch all of The Vikings too! (Spoilers possibly in the song titles/comments)

So I've heard Jen.
I've listened to some of the Vikings soundtrack you posted before and quite liked it.
Jen, have a listen to this and let me know what you think.
While I am enjoying 7-Hurtz I thought I would post another, slightly different track, but still a cracker.
for my little mintchop
one more for my little best mate
I quite liked that one EC, not my usual type of thing but I've just listened to it twice and might give it another go later The second one.... nope
