That is the beauty of a thread like this for me, I have found a number of songs posted by FM's that I was pleased to be made aware of, Velvet Donkey has turned me onto a couple to name an FM. In fact I'm going to post it.

This post goes out to Velvet Donkey, a great tune that now plays regularly on my Youtube channel. Thanks for turning me onto it. 

A few years ago I was spending a great deal of time hanging out with a girl and this song came into my life, it became 'her' song.

At the time I wanted to paint the stars for her.

Oh dear, I'm getting emotional just writing this and hearing the song - time for some Front 242 to change my mood.

BTW, does anyone else feel that Jimi Tenor is channeling Prince in the vocals?

If you have 11 minutes and 14 seconds to spare you will not regret listening to this version of The Look of Love. I think it's a great version.

I am not even going to attempt to find the character for this chap's name. Suffice to say I feel like I am moving into a late evening electronic phase.

I like a drop of Roy Ayers sunshine or not!

I have not posted any Boards of Canada for a while and this is one of my favourites. I just love BOC. As the saying goes, for me they can do no wrong.

I know few Bjork fans, shame as she produces some great music, this being one I play lots.

I love how one song takes you on a path to another. I really enjoyed the early part of Goldfrapp's output, quite cinematic in places. The chorus is just superb on this track.

I think that when Goldfrapp wrote the song above, they may have been listening to this little gem from Henry Mancini.

This I love. The song and especially the dancers. They all seem to be doing the same dance, but eat has their take. My favourite part of the clip is around three minutes in when the track goes all Aphex Twin and the girls freestyle it. Marvellous stuff.

This is my last post of the evening. Last week I was hunting for something to listen to whilst at work on my computer, I wanted music that did not make me sing or pull my attention away from my computing. I found Nordic Ambient. Although I have never seen the show, this is what I would imagine is played in Game of Thrones episodes.

Anyway, it's ambient, dark and I think very good. I'm kinda hooked on it.

You really should watch GOT EC it's brilliant with boobs thrown in to boot!
