Hey Cosi, my soul sista! I am glad you like my (sometimes dodgy )taste in music. It means a lot because I know your musical taste and knowledge is second to none, so thanks  The Peter Green track is a favourite of mine too - it is music to melt by, I always think...his voice...

Aaaw, you called me 'Triggerlicious' and I haven't been called that for ages...a nice blast from the past

I love the vocalist (Brittany Howard) from Alabama Shakes, the girl's got tunza soul, don't you think?

I love that Timi Yuro track you played, great video too, I could watch the Northern Soulers dance their asses off all day long!

Come in here more often Cosi, you could show us all how it is done!

Some names just stick because they suit..!

Kudos to the inspired 'namer'

Did you see the Alabama's on Jools the other night.  Wow, what a performer...!  She's on another planet when she gets into it

Blizzie's the one for Northern Soul;  I just dabble on the periphery and pick out ones that catch my attention.  But Timi Yuro (and Sharon Jones) I could listen to all day long.

I'll be back.......

Not my style - unless it's a Swedish group who shall remain un-named for my sanity's sake!  And besides, when the old fella's not listening to Ol' Blue Eyes, he's usually making like Jagger and cranking the volume up to 11

He's not got the moves though sadly!

I didn't see the Alabama Shakes on Jools, no...wish I had. I hear all sorts in her vocals, shades of Joplin and Motown amongst other things. The album Boys and Girls is really good

I didn't know Blizzie was into Northern Soul, she should get her flowery frocked ass in here more often then...BLIZZZZZZIE!!

Always a pleasure Cosi, my girl...
