160 mile round trip by public transport to see Makin Time at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford on a week night – happy days!

They seemed like a band going places but their singles fell just short of reaching the Top 40 and what would have generated vital Radio One play-listing.

18-year-old keyboardist/vocalist Fay Hallam was the stand out player and she came again with an outfit called The Prime Movers – but again fell short. Bassist Martin Blunt faired better emerging with a band called The Charlatans, with whom, he is still performing.

I was at work and this came on. I have not heard it for years and remember liking it when the album was released.

I bought this album for 2 reasons, one it came is a steel jewel case and the second is this song. I'm not really a Stones fan.
