I went through a phase of listening to and buying a bit of Napalm Death, Bolt Thrower and Extreme Noise Terror. Mainly after seeing this programme back in the day.
I just loved the crowd participation especially the guy who climbs on stage, seems to have a rest and is promptly shoved off.
What got me about Napalm was that they were so serious about what they were doing.
Thank God they included lyric sheets with the albums as every word just sounded like "Whooar"
"Scum" and "Deceiver" are classics.

I don't know whether it is an urban myth but I was told the original line-up split over musical diffrences. Which I found quite amusing. I hope it's true. they still seem to be join though.
I don't confess to know much of their music as it was a short lived flirtation. But I will have to check out those songs out of curiosity.
Still love the energy of this music.

Not something their late-80's American counter-parts would often say.
I love this one below at 1.38 when the drums kick off!

I know VD.
Basically - it's crap.
Musicality zero.
Talent zero.
It's actually funny to watch it's so bad.
But they were - and are - unbelievably popular and hugely influential.
John Peel had them in for sessions!
It don't get any more extreme than that.

Now I hear them again I do remember them.
They are good.
Killing Joke?
A local band and one of my favourites
Just heard this for the first time and I really, really like it.
A beautiful message to us all...

The Specials (as usual, after all these years)
Will there ever be a better band than the Clash? No!
Madness's (fashionable* flirt with country music, 1981)
*Elvis Costello and Squeeze had big hits with country styled records
Sorry Scotty ,no like ^^^
That okay erin, we all have different tastes

I gave it a listen Scotty. I do like singer songwriters who perform with simple musical accompaniment. It's a pleasant song, not something I would rush out to buy. I could not quite discern all the lyrics, but I think I got the general idea.
James Taylor is someone who I am aware of but not really heard much of. Clearly I should delve deeper as he fits into the type of music I listen to ocasionally.
