I'm sure Eugene appreciated your friendship and support.

Thank you Yogi  There are people we can meet online that we never do in real life, but that's not important if a friendship develops and they become part of our life just like family and real life friends xxx

Yellow Rose

I'm feeling embarassed and wondering if I should have posted such a personal message on a thread that's for FM's to share music that makes them feel happy. I really do appreciate the caring responses though  and thank you also Xochi, Cossie and Scotty

I won't be sharing any more music in this thread for a while so I hope fellow music lovers here will continue to post what they enjoyxxx

Music so often reminds us of people, places - good times and bad times.  It's a great thread with an eclectic mix, and that's just how it should be.

Oh thanks Cos  a friend once wrote that music is what feelings sound like, I find truth in that. I've always loved music so it's nice to have this thread here and I agree it's certainly an eclectic mix - I've never heard of some of the singers/bands that are posted lol. xxx

Spot on Cosmo. I have one special piece of music which a friend of mine introduced me to. Following that it was not very long before he committed suicide. I still love the music and I always give him a thought when I play it.

This song below grabbed me

Both of your posts were records released in May '65. The Marvelettes made the Top 40... Gloria Jones sank without trace - not even gaining popularity locally in LA.
