I have just eaten roast chicken, jacket potato, carrot and mange tout ... am having a cheeky little apres dinner glass of vino now

I'm having a hot vimto....I might have some toast and pate in a minute...

Mmmmmmm, pudd now finished *thinks* do I have a black cherry yogurt or a piece of Vienetta ice cream

Ice cream with the yoghurt poured over the top.

Just had milkey cheese on toast with Woster sauce

Cheese melted in milk poured over toast

What's the sense in that? why not just put the cheese on the toast and melt it ....simples

How do you melt it? In the microwave? What sort of cheese?

And what's the proportions? A woman likes to know these things

and how do you know it's ready?

and do you spread it on the bread/toast, or pour it on?

Recipe:
Put yer toast on
Cut as much cheese as you would use to make a sandwich
Break it into your smallest sauce pan
Add enough milk to cover
stir constantly on a medium heat until cheese has melted
Pour over buttered toast
Add woster sauce/brown sauce and black pepper
wash pan straight away (its a biatch if you leave it)
Enjoy

I am so going to do that tomorrow. One question ... what sort of cheese?

I am tempted to use something crumbly, like wendsleydale but I'll go with whatever you say

Thanks for reminding me to take my suppertime meds. I just had roast beef, stuffing, peas, and potatoes and gravy.

I used Red Leicester tonight and cheeses of that consistency in the past but I've never used a crumbly one in it *note to self ; try a crumbly cheese on it*
