Just watched last nights BB and found the whole thing pretty disgusting. Davina and Co treated Bea as if she was the worst person ever, anyone would have thought she committed a crime, and what was with all the 'Pro-Freddie-can-do-no-wrong' crap?

Why didn't they show her witty onliners?, her confronting Kenneth?, telling Noirin what she actually thought of her?

I'm not saying this just because I'm a Bea supporter, but for any housemate to endue that response from their interview for being an 'interesting' housemate, whether you liked them or not, is completely out of order and biased. Shake Head

I didn't watch Big Mouth, I'm guessing she got pretty much the same treatment there? Oh well, at least she took it quite well I guess Confused

I knew she was a gonner this week and that most people don't like her, but after that interview I'm supporting her even more.

Rant over, cup of tea anyone?

When someone carries on like Bea does in life, I don't think it's a bad thing to sit them down and show them the effects their behaviour may have on others.

It was clearly an eye opener for Bea, she really does seem deluded about other people and her own self.

I didn't find Bea to be a pleasant person to watch, if she had a nice side, she kept it well hidden, so it's hardly surprising that the strongest part of her character was the one focused upon.

In the time given for interviews, I think more people would have been angered by a whitewash of happy Bea flating around making people laugh.

They talked about David like he was some kind of angel. The truth is he is very annoying, loud, speaks a load of crap, sucks up to most of the people in the house and overacts.

They treated Kenneth worse though in his interview. Noirin I thought they treated lightly.

Marcus has lost someone he can talk to and spar with now. Probably even more boring for him in there.

I thought it was interesting.

I always wondered whether she was genuinely deluded or whether she had some really good plan to be the evilest person ever and thereby gain more money post BB for her notoriety.

It was all too clear she was just deluded Laugh....and just like Freddy, I take immense enjoyment when deluded people like her and Freddy who are up their own arses and patronise all and sundry are faced with their own inadequacies.

Suppose i'm just a mean and ebil person myself for that Devil Laugh

Personally I found Freddie likeable and irritating in equal measure. But I've got to laugh at this post. Bea could eat children and some people would still defend her. Yes, she has some likeable qualities, she is brilliantly witty (unfortunately usually at someone else's expense or humiliation) and occasionally stands up for what's right, although usually I find it's more about being centre of attention than the cause she's ranting about. But you can't expect to go on a TV show which lets be honest, is now solely a popularity contest for most viewers, be thoroughly horrible most of the time, and not be brought to task on it.

The funny thing was McCall said that the Freddie situation was just a 'small cog' in the reason why she was disliked. I think McCall was talking crap saying that.

well what's wrong with calling someone a yorkshire pudding? Its not the most offensive thing to call someone, yet they showed her saying that more than once.

People may not agree with her actions to Freddie (even though he over-reacted) but that was one thing, and thats all they seem to grill her about.

I just think a lot of people are bitter that Freddie got evicted in the first place.

But we don't have LF so we don't know what she was like most of the time.

Fine. Then I'll accept there is a possibility that there are hours of footage I haven't seen where Bea is not spending her time putting people down, talking down to people, manipulating every situation to be about her, creating drama at others' expense for the spotlight, and that balances it out. I am prepared to accept that is a possibility.

I think so too Rawky they made it all about him I agree, but then it was her most prolific change in the house and they can only fit so much in tbh.

I generally think that Davina is dreadful with the eviction interviews; she usually fawns around even the most unpleasant housemates and treats them with kid gloves, like Makosi. I think last night's interview was the first time I've ever seen where she actually didn't suck up to a housemate, and Bea deserved everything she got and more.

(I'm not trying to be argumentative, honest, I just keep seeing stuff I want to respond to Big Grin)

See I totally agreed with Davina there. The Freddie thing was only one of the episodes where I found myself repulsed by her behaviour. I really liked her at the beginning. I first started seeing the side I don't like with Noirin. Making the Marcus t-shirts and all the bitchy comments. And then it just snowballed and TBH, after that, the likeable qualities shone through less and less

I think though that everyone who goes into the house is still a human being at the end of the day, and they should be able to rely on Davina being Big Mother and being impartial. She obviously has to ask the questions everyone wants to know, and you can't please all of the public all of the time with that. In Bea's case she didn't have a lot to work with along the lines of praise. I honestly don't think she was too harsh.

Well for once i actually read ever comment ...

So - in a limited time they have to focus on the meat and not the veg - ok

They had to challenge BEA on her dreadfull behaviour - especially as she behaved so self righteous it was only right to ask BEA if she stood by them

This behaviour dominated al other - wots the point of showing her being occasionsllly nice?
Hitler was occasionally nice but it doesn't get to the meat on the bones

She deserved her grilling cos she was quite prepared to dish it out to others

Big Grin they should have showed more of her bitch behaviour and MADE her take responsibility Laugh

It was better then I thought it would be, but Davina did make a couple of excuses for her. I think when Bea said she wasn't aware of some of her behaviour and Davina agreed. I was screaming at the tv Red Face Glance
