Couldn't care less about his sexuality. Annoyed that he got the lucrative tv work, when he didn't even win gold in 2012. Where are all the fantastic Olympic and Paralympic champions - fantastic interesting characters. I'd rather have seen them on the tellybox.

I don't think he's made a big deal out of it, people are interested in him, he was the poster boy for 2012. The public has watched him grow up and having a first love is just another rite of passage he's decided to share, like doing and passing his A levels. The media would have been interested regardless, so good for him for just stating a fact that his first relationship is with a bloke 

I think Tom gets a lot of criticism no matter what he does, so at least he's in control by announcing it rather having the story splashed across the papers.

There has been quite a lot of speculation about Tom's sexuality for a while now, so perhaps he thought it was better for him to announce it, rather than some exposé rubbish in one of the red tops.

He does sound very happy in the article, so good luck to him and his new boyfriend.

 

That's what really annoys me Soozy.  Some horrid little turd trying to make some easy money by selling a story to a rag about someones sexuality.  Why does his sexuality need to be a story in this day and age?  Probably to appease the terminally outraged. "strip him of his gold medal, he'll turn our children gay *rant rant rant*"

I'm pretty sure that one of our ex-FMs (who we retain as a chum on FB and is a friend of JLS and no direction)mentioned this a while back. I always recognised  his gaydar skills and thus am not surprised. It shouldn't really be an issue though.

As for Tom.. good luck to him.  What does shock and disgust me is that GJ has friends who are friends of One Direction.   I'm hoping that's a euphamism for something.

 

I totally get that! It was the jumper he wore, and the scene where he's smiling benignly wearing comedy antlers. My favourite George was in 'Edge of Heaven'. Leather jacket with tassles on the arms, tight black jeans and darker, less bouffant hair.

Funnily enough, antlers don't really figure in my fantasy, Suze... but whatever floats your boat.   I was googling images of your George though and I found this very unsettling picture.

 

 I don't find anything unsettling about that. It looks absolute precious to me. And look at Andrew's little face, looks like they're having the time of their lives.
