For the first time in nine years I deliberately didn't watch BB last night. And I don't feel as though I missed a thing. I feel strangely liberated.

We'll have to start pretending that this series has all of a sudden exploded in to life just to get your finger hovering over the remote. Be prepared for lots of threads about pictures of the virgin mary appearing in Srees' hair and the like.
I haven't even watch a full HL show. I've probably watch about 1/2 hour in total so far.
And going by what is posted on here, I'm not missing much. Same old bull, interesting HMs always up, the bores staying.

I don't seem to have walked towards it yet. The TV seems a lot better this year and there are too many superior progs on. Not enough BB coverage really, and by restricting it to an hour a night, they haven't helped themselves.
You have to go 48 hours before the withdrawal symptons set in.

I'd like to say how we laughed last night,
but I'd be fibbing....
but that bit when Angel got Kris & Charlie in headlocks...when battling Lisa...
I'm dipping in and out, but it's far from the compulsive viewing it once was.
Oh come back Queenie! I'm sure it will get better.
(I get like that with soaps and usually miss them out over the summer, but the storyline with Christian and Sayed in EE has me hooked in at the moment).

I didn't watch last night either. I'm so peed off about Angel and Freddie being up for eviction, I've kind of lost heart now.
I may dip in and out if some new HM's go in, but it would need some major changes for me to class myself as an addict again. This series is just not very entertaining IMO. It turns out I really do have better things to do. I watched EE from the beginning too and gave up on that 15 years ago when it turned into the Sopranos lite.
I'm watching evictions, and that's it.

I haven't watched any of this year's BB since the opening night.
I did the same last year, and the year before too...I'm starting to wonder if I'm in the wrong forum
I didn't watch HL's or LF either last night and not for the first time either, it's the first year I've not felt drawn to watch every night.
I've watched fewer than half a dozen HL shows this year. Didn't see last night's - there was a prog about moon exploration I had on Sky+ and fancied seeing
The forum is a lot quieter too without live feed. Eviction day (and every day actually) would bring tons of threads with the title, "OMG - live feed just now ..."
We're not seeing enough or hearing enough to get sucked in are we?

good for you and no you missed nothing very dull and unpleasent in parts

It's definitely a major contributing factor. I've said before that I also think this years HM's are just not interesting enough. Only Freddie, Angel, Marcus and Siavash offer anything vaguely different to the usual tried and tested stereotypes that are in there. Even they are flawed characters, Marcus is boorish, Angel is uncomfortable to watch, Siavash is arrogant and Freddie, nice guy though he is, is a prat. There's no humour, the house is ugly, the tasks are rubbish and nobody cares about Krap Kris and Sophie's fauxmance, which seems to account for 50% of the HL. All we've got now is a heavily edited and manipulated soap. The reality has gone.
^ you got that right

Well done Queenie.... I'm really pleased with myself too, i stopped watching on C4 after launch night but still watched via a internet site, but last night i made a real effort not to watch at all and feel strangely elated. I don't feel ive missed a thing and i've watched BB since BB2.
Agree, Queenie.
And you're so right about the house being ugly - no wonder Freddie constantly refers to it as a "TV studio" - that's exactly what it looks like. It's not even pretending to be somewhere you might call home, unlike previous BBs.
Talk about doing it on the cheap..
