Ooooh how appropriate as Ive just celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary on Friday and have been thinking about my wedding day and looking at all the piccys again...

Our 1st dance was 'You Needed Me' by Boyzone

It should have been 'Come in out of the rain' by Wendy Morton really and I don't know why I didn't choose it at the time. The words to that song are just puuurrrrfect!!! I cry everytime I hear it but I loved the Boyzone song at the time too...

I need to go and listen to it now lol

This whole first dance thing is a relatively new phenomenon ................I have been married for thirty two years and we certainly didn't agonise over what should be our first dance - as it happens the DJ chose \Amouresuse by KiKi Dee .............................I just happen to have a good memory and remember that ...........actually it was a really good choice.

I love the whole first dance thingy though .............my sister recently got married and the had 'Come What May' from Moulin Rouge .......beeeeeeoooootiful.

My second wedding was in Gretna green with the love of my life and the kiddies, our reception was eating a chinese take away in a remote cottage, and then having rude secs while listening to Nick Cave
respeck!!!

we stayed in a posh hotel..mr sponge booted a cup of coffee over some posh cream rug...and spent ages trying to get the stain out....

ain't married life grand!!!

I'm 25 yrs married in November.  We had a local band playing and the first song was The Wedding Song...............'You by my side that's how I see you, your hand in mine happy and smiling' etc.

Lovely choice and in those days the Bride and Groom had to make the big exit so everyone could cry.  Everyone made a tunnel and we had to walk underneath it kissing everyone and the song they were playing was 'It's a Lesson to Late for the Learning'...........................
Tayto.
