Yeah but they'd probably been paid to cater for 80 or 100 and were not gonna go over what they'd been paid for. These caterers are very mean spirited - if you pay for 80 bacon butties that's what you'll get, If it runs out tough - they do as they are asked. It was obviously the people that did the organising/arranging that underestimated.

I cater for family parties quite often too. When it's family you bend over backwards to make sure it's perfect. When you pay these (over priced) caterers per head - that's just what you get. if yo pay for 100 bacon rolls - that's what you get.
