Me either, erin - our office has a corrugated iron roof... you should hear the racket.

I had to hang onto someone's garden railings while waiting for the bus home tonight and pray that the bus didn't come during one of the big gusts. Thankfully it came during a lull and I was able to get across the pavement from the railing and onto the bus.

Hubby was waiting at the bus stop when I got off the bus....just in case.

My greenhouse has lost a few panels already. I don't think my plants will survive.

My cats are afraid to go out.  Scared of being whipped up into the wind I guess.

Sensible cats, I don't blame them, Sparkles.

LOL I know Yogi.   they are sitting by the patio doors looking out, and they go out for like a minute, thenthey jump back in through the kitchwn window.    Its about 50 mph here.  Not as bad as America though   About 100 have died in a twister storm.

How awful, Sparkles. Puts my broken greenhouse into perspective.

Scary drive home tonight .. roads closed due to fallen trees,branches flying about , one of those advertising trailer thingies tumbling about ,and flying roadworks signs! White knuckles! 

Who writes Corrie?   First two scenes in tonight's programme had the characters talking about the terrible storm in the night!   *twilight zone music*

I noticed that and pointed it out to my hubby.    So weird how they were on about storms and wind and yet it was recorded 6 weeks ago!  Unless they did that 'filming something this morning' thing like they did with EE, when they stuck the royal wedding scene in.
