Strong to gale force winds for Scotland (60-80mph)and parts of Nothern England,It's really blustery here just now (Glasgow) and I've just finished staking and tying up the plants in the garden.May has been rubbish so far after April being so nice and warm.

Locally, it's rubbish collection day, and on my way walking to the post office, I was retrieving recycling boxes which had been blown into the road by the wind.

 

I timed it just right though as within a few minutes of getting back home, it has started to pour and an umbrella in this wind wouldn't last a second.

I am gutted I am about to lose my Kilmarnock,its ripped from the ground .

I have experienced winds like this, but its usually in January!!

Roads here look like they have been covered in grass.

Signage from our local Dentist has been ripped of and its flying around frisby style.

Dont like this one bit.
