Lovely sunny morning. We will be firing up the Raleigh and Gazelle, and doing a circumnavigation of the Tees Valley shortly.
Back! There is an extremely cold wind blowing in the wrong direction.
Am having carrot and ginger soup and trying to thaw out.
I had thermals, t shirt, shirt, pullover, gore-tex berghaus, and a wool layer under my helmet, so to speak, and I still feel like a block of ice.

tis very cold today though 
I need to get a youngster back to Chepstow this evening via the train - Birmingham seems to be the problem with weather but I am having trouble finding too much info 
how bad is it there and are there any travel disruptions does anyone know

Well tis still snowing in The Black Country just outside Brum but haven't heard of many disruptions.

thanks - I have adjusted his times by 3 hours so he should get BNS to Chepstow at a more suitable time than his Mother had told him if he had been mine he would have been enroute late morning/early afternoon ,,, I am a worrier

Just started snowing again in Nottingham 
Just ridden back in a blizzard! As it were.
Snowing this morning in Glasgow,just about 1cm deep,it's to turn to rain later.
West of Scotland - woke up to several inches of snow this morning, but there is a thaw on and it has started to rain.
