That sounds a bit grim Sprout

I trust it's now warmer for you.

 Excellent news.

South Yorkshire (6:45)

Well as predicted the snow continued overnight. I woke to a lovely snow covered scene of some depth. The main roads are moving but the side roads a white over. It's still snowing and apparently it wont stop until mid afternoon.

Going to chance driving to work as it's all main roads until the final turn off to work (and that usually gets gritted by the business).

SNOW DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!   WHOOP!

The boys school (in Suffolk) is closed...   and I have just negotiated a snow day with work (if workload requires it I shall work Friday to make the hours up)

I am ridiculously over excited about having a snow day!

I may even venture out in it for some snow themed recreation!
