Snowing and settling in the north east, the roads are ok but the paths are turning white
UPDATE - OMG its lying all over the place ... Newcastle by-the-way

Well it started the morning off with light snow flurries, but as the day progressed toward midday they became heavier. By lunch the grass and unused roads were white, but no depth.
Just had my sandwiches and it is now bright sunshine, which I think if it stays this way will burn off the covering we have had.
Just hope the temperature does not drop and leave ice all over.
AND RELAX !!! Melting - hope it aint gonna freeze

Heavy snow in Nottingham, it's been snowing since early morning but now the suns come out

Much excitement at Cosi Towers this morning. Opened my eyes and could see a blanket of white on the roof of our garages in the distance. Jumped out of bed thinking it was time for snowman building only to find it was JUST the rooftops that were covered.
Everywhere else was just a puddle It's been rainy and overcast all day.
Melting here! No doubt it will freeze later.
A colleague who lives in Hull has been told it's snowing again there. He headed off an hour ago.

Zero degrees, snowing but melting on the roads. Bit of a slushy mess. Or slutchy as they say across the other side in Rochdale.
Had a blizzard tonight, look what I made.. 
Snowed for an hour or so earlier, sky still looks full of it, either that or it's lying *ba bum tish*

It snowed throughout the night but our local council are doing a fantastic job keeping the roads clear, it's now melting because the sun is out, but getting about wasn't a problem anyway

Started off with a very light flurry of snow which did not last. Now we have some cloud but it's not obscuring the sun.
Chilly though.
West of Scotland - Dry and very cold.
Thin covering this morning (wore wellies to work and carried shoes) on and off snowing most of the day but not lying. Hence it was mostly clear tonight. I wore my shoes home and carried my wellies, which I didn't want to but you just know it will be snowing and I'll need them tomorrow morning 
Glistening now (when I came in bout an hour ago)
Very foggy. From the safety of our house the fog and snow look lovely together. However I hope everyone stays safe out there.
