NEWCASTLE - frosty n cold
SOUTH LANARKSHIRE - the forecast was for mist and fog this late afternoon;/evening, but we didn't get any. It is very clear and quite frosty, but only about -2 or 3 at worst.
It is forecast to get a bit colder though, which is quite likely as it's not even 6 o'clock yet.
Nottingham, freezing cold but sunny
Very unusual in the Tees Valley. Freezing fog with low visibility, but perfecr road/cycle path surface for cycling, it was like a normal day out from that point of view.
