Bloody gale force here! but bright and sunny enough and I think it wants to rain but the wind's keeping it at bay

Thank god all that heavy rain and strong winds have gone,damp up here but mild.(Glasgow) oh and it's still daylight outside..spring is coming,the really short days are over.

Nothing here on East coast today, although we had some at the weekend.

I don't know if the roads were gritted overnight, because the snow isn't lying on the roads, so I can still get out and about.
There's lots of snow lying on the pavements and gardens though.
I am staying in and keeping cosy.

My 25 and 22 year olds were mucking about in the snow at the weekend (they were supposed to be clearing the paths), and accidentally hit a neighbour with a snowball - he was not amused.
They did apologise, although the fact that they couldn't stop laughing didn't really help.
