That's where I escaped from yesterday ..took some folk more than12 hours to drive to East Kilbride from Motherwell. Chaos.

Got down to about -10 in Nottingham last night and theres still snow here but it's now turned to thick ice and i even had to have the hairdryer on the keyhole this morning as it had frozen

I want it gone now Rexi, it's a nightmare just trying to get to the shops, everyones waddling like penguins trying to keep upright, at least we all look fools together

Minus ten in Glasgow last night,minus 3 today,it's still bloody freezing hard .All that snow has turned to hard ice,the roads have compacted snow that's turned to sheet ice,it's too cold for the salt grit to work.

Very very cold again in Newcastle.  My new natural colour is blue.

On the plus side all of the water pipes are frozen at our units and because running water is essential to our business we're closing for the day 

Woke up this morning and it appeared to have thawed a litlle overnight. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

We had a drift of snow this morning in Gloucestershire it never really amounted to anything, but I have never seen a hard frost this bad.. the tree's look gorgeous though

Just baltic here in southampton. I just came in from cleaning out the rabbits and i cant feel my fingers, this typing is nothing short of a modern day miracle

The trees do look gorgeous when they're all frosty Marge    I find frosty spider web's fascinating 

A thaw started but it's freezing again - just been shopping and it's treacherous!

In Glasgow today at lunchtime it was -11. Paramedics attending an elderly man who had slipped recorded the temperature on their files..

 was- 13 about 9 am.

Still bloomin cold here, don't know what the temp is, but no more snow (again) Just compacted stuff

Somebody's nicked my snow! My garden's gone a funny green colour!

Yesterday, when I got out of my car at work it was -4. When I got back into it 8 hours later it was +3.

 Still about 3 degrees today - thank goodness, coz I've been stood outside for much of the evening whilst hubby does that macho 'getting the Christmas Tree into the pot' thing. 

And I had to hold it - the tree, not hubby

i can see green again in my garden too  the temp has gone up and the snow is thawing but the pavements are still iced over and i've got the sniffles and my bones ache so the heating is still on full  (Nottingham)

in the West Midlands I've had heavy rain followed by hailstones.  Then is started to sleet and it's also tried to snow.     I got everything but sunshine 

We had rain and then some snow.... but it didn't lay.... but it has turned very cold... here in Cheshire..

it snowed this morning very heavily but now it's stopped and we've got bright sunshine    I knew I'd get my sunshine

West Devon, snow during the night, freezing cold. I wont use the car after my recent experience with a patch of black ice.

Tees Valley.... Just been out on the bikes. It's -4 to -5 but quite dry.

Suffolk/Essex/Cambs border.....fecking cold -5 at the mo, was -7 on school run this morning, ice everywhere, last nights snow is now solid and lethal and I had to scrape the INSIDE of my car this morning  Now tucked up on sofa with a cuppa and my furry blanket, hope to defrost by Christmas.

It's actually quite stunning outside at the moment. The sky has a bluey/grey tinge and against the snow it looks boootiful.

I hope the sky is lit up tonight, I love it

Getting dark, and damn freezing

This morning I attended my grandfather's funeral in Llanelli - in a blizzard. it was touch and go with the hearse tbh and many people who wanted to come simply couln't make it.

More snow promised but it's not too bad now other than being bitterly cold.

Hopefully we can get home without any trouble tomorrow afternoon.
