theres no point to that cause where I live we get completely diff weather to the next town. We always seem to get the rain miss us when its raining in treacle town Nuneaton/Atherstone/Tamworth (I'm somewhere kinda in the middle)

It's bloody cold today but I think that is due to the wind ... but much better in terms of the snow melting

Currently snowing quite heavily and the roads are white over. I have a lamp on in the conservatory and I can see the snow against the window, I thought this was all over as it was getting a little warmer.

still got 5/6 inches from the last 2 snow falls and its been snowing on and off since yesterday afternoon, but only 2 inches fallen this time.
Sleet, snow and bits of rain in Cumbria. the roads have gone slushy.

slushy here today. School traffic was a nightmare with the bloody buses trying to squeeze thru & sliding up the hill

Slush here in Bolton, though I have finally managed to move the car...yippee! I preferred the snow than this slush, thank the lord for wellies

Urgh - it's just started snowing again 
am i glad to be home, the bloody roads are lethal this morning, accidents all over with black ice. i passed 2 cars in ditches in the mile i have to go to the stables. the steep and windy bank beyond the stables in strewn with cars according to neighbours son who'd just walked up it. i'm just watching from home as a mahoosive artic truck, obviously sent here by his satnav because there's been accidents on the main road, is heading toward said hill just to compound the mayhem 
the roads are black ice here in Nottingham and the pavements are solid ice now, lots of accidents here too according to the radio

Hi Electric Shepherd. Thanks for asking about me!! You are right - we have been without power since yesterday 1.00pm until this afternoon. No heating, hot water, lights and -8 degress. I cannot explain how hellish it has been. Spent most of the time in bed under 3 duvets. Things were so bad that they helicoptered the engineers in. Reminder to self - sell up and move asap!
