Sunny but cool here in Cheshire today …but we’ve been moved into a red heat warning (the highest level) for Monday and Tuesday .

The daytime temperature has returned to something approaching normal, but the nighttime temperature is still a bit higher than comfortable, being only 2 or 3 degrees lower than the daytime temperature.

It’s definitely cooler at nights down here in Cheshire EFFT ….and daytime temps are quite pleasant .
No thunder here (South Lanarkshire), although it was forecast!
We had some yesterday in Cheshire , but nothing today …although it was very wet overnight , and this morning .
Newcastle - lashing rain all day and I mean the heaviest i've ever seen - so much for a drier climate - idiots
Newcastle - storms for 3 days, roaring rain all night, it woke me and has washed dirt from our roof and blocked the drain, looks like mud!!
If anyone EVER asks me to conserve water I may lose my temper for the first time in my life

Good grief Renton … nothing like that here in Cheshire ….just a couple of quite heavy showers , but that’s all .

Lucky you - it's been devastating, people sweeping water away from their houses, gushing drains.
