Newcastle - we got away with that almost unscathed - a little rain - a few gusts and nothing more

Except I've just checked our window and although very little has got in ... around the frame is damp but it's to be expected as it rained heavy for about 40mins and on and off most of the day. We survived without a flood so - small mercies

White skies on a still morning in Torbay so far...

Newcastle - amazing how the place dries up. BBC in their wisdom said it was going to be showery all day and now says there will be none!!

Calm, no rain, dark skies over Newcastle - they can keep it - sunshine here earlier

Torbay is a bit of a nothing this morning...No sun, No rain, No wind, No nothing!

A nice morning here in Cheshire , although the ground is sodden and there was a lot of standing water when I went for a walk ….now it looks like the heavens are about to opened again .

Newcastle - from 1pm  the BBC said we were to have light showers - we had nothing

All day they've been pushing back the time for 'showers' - come 7pm we are in a storm!! And now the BBC say this 'shower' is to last til midnight

Crazy when you can't rely on any forecast

Never could in the NE….the forecast never matched the weather❤️🤣

Been sunny all day here……and it’s now nippy rather than freezing cold

Mild thus far in Torbay ...

Overcast, damp ,  and chilly here in Cheshire today .

Ground frost today. Only lifted on patches of grass that were lucky enough to get a bit of sun.

Lanarkshire,  Scotland - up a hill!

Very foggy, and damp here until lunchtime ….but the mists have cleared now in Cheshire .

Much the same as yesterday here in Torbay...

Weather forecast is for sleet until 1 pm, then rain. So far there has been zero precipitation of any sort!
