Lovely sunshine to start the day with in Devon

Heavy wind & rain overnight, leaving us with a beautiful fresh and sunny morning here in Devon

Heavy rain overnight , and first thing , but sunny, if breezy  now in Cheshire .

We went really dark for a while there...but bright and sunny again

The heavens have well and truly opened up over Devon...it's been chucking it down for hours!

OOoh I love a good thunder storm ....have watched lightening roll down our road before...amazing!

I don’t mind it in the daytime , but hate it at night .

NEWCASTLE - monsoon-like conditions through the night and this morning

Was greeted with water coming in through the window at the top of the stairs and a soaked carpet. Water coming in through the letter box AND our garage roof leaking into the laundry and the garage!! Now the roofing company who replaced that roof 2yrs ago are coming out for the SECOND time to repair it. Told them we are not happy, he said,

"I'll repair it tomorrow, I promise you it won't leak and you'll never see me again."

Too right mate - cos I won't be using you again!!

OMG Renton What a nightmare ….I hope it all gets sorted quickly ….can you claim for the carpet on the house insurance?

Awww glad the carpet is ok now Renton ….make sure you give the roofer hell tomorrow , but not until after he’s fixed it
