Am now a bit gob-smacked! Not only have Tesco given us a voucher as compensation for not delivering on the booked day, this morning I got an email from them saying they are refunding the total cost of the order!

Oh, not as it first seemed! what's happened is that my card was charged on the Friday when the delivery was first supposed to happen then refunded because it didn't get delivered, then charged again on the Sunday when it was successfully delivered. So only the conpensatory voucher.
Mr Fluffy Thing was able to get an emergency delivery at 10 PM on the Friday from a local convenience store on Deliveroo or one of those types. We only had two slices of bread and half a carton of milk left. Obviously had other food in the house, but not being able to have milk in my tea for two days was going to be a bit awkward!
No more 'proper' snow so far. There has been a bit of sleet........and lots of rain.

Seems to be permanently dull, grey and wet!
More snow overnight.
It's not terribly deep, just a bit awkward to trudge through to get to the main road - which is clear.
Our overnight forecast is partly cloudy with the temperature dropping to -5°
Contrary to what the forecast said - it is currently snowing!
It was lashing with rain overnight, so our THIRD snowy period so far this winter has just been washed away.
Fourth one's come and gone now as well!
Been raining for a few hours, now it's snowing. Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Sleeting for most of the day. As the day went on it got more snowy and less rainy, so now there's a thin layer of snow lying and it is still lightly snowing!
Wet and windy today, though the forecast was for snow,
Light cloud, brightish, breezy, quite cold.
Today it is very cold and breezy. A few light flurries of snow and several bright and sunny periods.
Another light covering of snow a short while ago.
A bit more snow, very cold and sunny.
Latest snow flurry has finished and the sun is out again.
