Newcastle - none stop rain over the last 2 days with torrential rain and wind like I've never seen.
It's wrecked our guttering causing tons if water to pour all over the side of our house and onto the garage roof.
What a noise - all night!!
Placed large buckets all over the back of the house last night - everyone was filled to the brim this morning.
What a terrible night

Still reasonably sunny with very little rain or wind - Scotland. Temperatures could be a bit higher though!

Another not too cold sunny day in Bonnie Scotland.
Newcastle Warm (for a change) and a slight breeze, suddenly gone overcast.
Not a bad day at all . . . .up to now
Scotland - a bit wet today, but should be dry and sunny for the rest of the week.
Scotland - cloudy in the morning, thunderstorm in the afternoon, followed by heavy rain.
CRAWCROOK (Tyne and Wear) - going to visit a friend and . . .
I had to stop driving, couldn't see anything - rain, hail, lightning, leaves off trees, tarmac lifted off road with fountain coming out of it.
Rivers of water - front street at least 2-3 feet deep
Fire engines, ambulance âĶ it was more than torrential. Car is damaged by the hail

I'm ok but it was scary - the worst I've ever experienced, I couldn't see anything.
Car seems ok - not checked it yet
Today is one of those really bright, sunny, crisp mornings. I am sat in a coffee shop looking out at a blue sky, the bright sun illuminating the Town Hall and surrounding buildings. I can also see the remaining trees in leaf, resplendent reds and yellows.
I can never understand why people dislike Autumn and Winter. New views, sights and experiences. The beauty of the UK for me is the changing seasons and all that brings.
