Was 7C here on New Years day, sun shining, not had any snow at all

After yesterday's lovely weather, it's overcast and grey and a bit windt now and it's snowing slightly on top of last night's light dusting.  Not a day for walking.

2 hours later - snowing a blizzad - ground completely covered in less than 5 minutes   

we've got tons of the white stuff up on the co. durham hills, some roads were barely passable this morning and it's been blizzarding for 2 hours solid.

sure is purdy though....

now 6 degrees & lovely blue skies with sunshine here in Torbay!

oh noes Gyps, nothing worse than being cold and too lazy to get up and find a blanket!!  bit like needing a wee and just keep turning over, drifting back to sleep and dreaming that you are on the loo  don't know where the ghosts come in tho

Really, really cold here in the Black Country, frost hasn't melted so it is white over and crunchy underfoot, the dog loves it!!  Sun is shining and blue skies so a really nice winters day if you can stand the cold.  0 degrees here according to BBC weather website.

my weather an hour away from you -  says 1 degree but feels like -6  -  spot on I think - it is bliddy freezing this morning

a little tip - put another quilt under your bottom sheet and a hot water bottle at your side - try it - unbelievable the warmth it generates
