Just got up! Looked out of the windows and what do I see? Rain. It is grey and looks like proper wintery weather.

I'm still going out for a walk and a coffee and a bit of a shop.

Very windy overnight , followed by rain here in Cheshire .....but eased off now . 

Very wet and very windy this morning as I waited for the bus, but by hometime there was little to worry about.

I could cry for all those who've been flooded   stay safe everyone.

We had horrendously strong winds overnight and this morning and rained about dinnertime. Seems calm now though 

Still raining.

It is absolutely throwing it down with rain backed by a strong wind. 

Forecast said heavy snow sometime between 7 and 9 on the evening of 31/12/2015.

I'm still waiting!

 AT LAST!

Just woke up and noticed what I thought was a light dusting of frost, cracked open the window to find a nice cool feeling to the outside air. YES! we at last seem to be getting date appropriate weather.

Really looking forward to wrapping up and going out for a walk today. In fact I have been invited to a friends so I will relish a nice 40 minute walk to his house.

Rain and wind but not dramatic like yesterday. It will be dry between 11 and midnight according to the forecast...I will be sleeping

I can feel a drop in temperature, I wonder if this is the start of the drop in temps forecast for next week?

Rained solidly here from Monday night, sometimes heavy, sometimes not. Everything is sodden and we have that floaty rain at the minute
