Someone hold me
Ten inches of snow on Sunday.......never risen above -12 since then.

Slight thaw today, so ventured to supermarket.

Came out to gale force winds and rise in temperature........more snow
Couldn't get the car up the drive, and Mr S had the look of the *men are the better drivers* when I had to give in, and ask him to do it

It's now minus six, and all the snow that fell last night will be frozen for me struggling out again tomorrow.

Blimey they're friendly round your way, round here if you look at someone sideways you risk a smack in the gob. One I use a lot is 'whatcha looking at? Wanna bleedin photograph?' I'm not a sociable person.
It's the country code, innit.  Happens most places if you walk in the countryside.  Well, in the morning anyway and for discernable walkers or people with dogs.  The families don't in the afternoon.

I remember living in London and no-one talking.  I was well freaked out when I first moved there aged 22.  I was dead friendly to everyone and picked up dozens of blokes on public transport without realising it or wanting it.

Totally snowed in here in Upper Weardale. Basically snowed for the last 2 weeks and really heavy falls over the last 48 hours. Horses up to their tums in snow and I can't even get out with a 4 x 4. Still, it's a nice place to live in the summer!!
OOoh lucky you (well not now coz of the weather) it's lovely round there!
