The wind is really getting up here in Nottingham and I have a lot of big trees on the back 

Been ok here so far..............but if the forecast is to be believed we might miss the worst of it. Hang in there everyone in it's path and stay safe

Well, if you believe the weather forecast on the BBC site Aimee, you have nothing much to worry about. Some heavy rain and a maximum windspeed of 19 mph.

Think of poor me. I'm apparently getting a windspeed of 24 mph.

Sister in Dorset says they've had torrential rain and it's been a bit blustery, but not too awful so far.

East Sussex Coast 

Sis in London says they're now getting the torrential rain that sis in Dorset had. Weather forecast says as this weather system drfts South East over Europe it'll pull strong winds down from the North West over Scotland. So we could get some extra-bumpy winds on Monday afternoon/evening!

NW London. Am I in the eye of the storm? All is quieter than it was this afternoon.

Weird, isn't it - they're talking as though I should be sitting in something worse than '87 and '90 rolled into one.  Instead, it's a bit lairy (but no more than we've had before), and it's a bit wet.

Ark building is suspended for now.
