It's been snowing all afternoon in Siberian Newcastle. Out in the car at the moment, just waiting for Mr Cinds. Can't wait to get home, I've got the heating turned up to half past and a tattie pot in the oven.

Bloody cold! I'm huddled up in about four layers of clothes, if I fall down I'll not be able to get back up !

Slinki, I've been cold all day - still am. I can feel the heat in the room air, but I'm still cold.

yep, it's a cutting cold! I have several layers on and just shoved a big fleece goonie on over the lot.. I look like Joey wearing all Chandler's clothes at once!

I woke up to snow this morning. It has gone now, but there's a freezing cold wind. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

No wonder it's so cold....there's a ferocious wind and the sky's almost clear. I see the moon!

Last week I was out buying summer clothes and this week I'm struggling to find something to put on!  The change in weather is mad!

Whisky's kicking in here ! 

  Ells, after last weeks heatwave I did some online shopping.  The bikinis, summer dresses and beach towels I ordered arrived today in the middle of a blizzard. 

Oh yeah, and the snow is still coming down horizontally here.  It's accumulating a little bit, but thankfully it rained all morning and the snow is still very wet so it's not settling too much.

 

I do love snow, but not a few days after a heatwave.

OH's parents have gone to caravan in lake district and have got snowed in!

I suppose when you hear there are Tornado's ripping through Texas, a bit of April snow seems insignificant.

I am, at last. feeling reasonably warm. I discovered that the window vent was open. Now that I have closed it the place is warming up quite nicely.

We've got an inch of snow here in the north east, I never expected it to settle!

Same here sweet, I was expecting a few flurries, not a blooming blizzard, been at it since about 5pm and 2/3 inches has laid!

Never went beyond sleet here in the balmy Tees Valley.

Our lights are still dipping a bit mind.

Nothing when I left HQ around 5ish GJ, so don't know how it is there now? Always get it worse here as you know....still coming down thick and fast and looking like I could be snowed in in the morning

Heavy wind rain and snow here  if i get to college today and it's cancelled again i won't be happy

Awwww poor chickens! Temperature must has risen o/n here as the snow is melting and turning to slush. There's a power cut 'though, which means no heating, shower or morning cuppas, not the greatest start to the day!

yeah... that's a bit sh*t Soops!  

 

(get the bbq out the back & boil some water on it...   that's what MrD did for me the last time we had a power cut... it was snowing then too..   but he knows I am a mardy cow without my coffee in a morning )
