We really need some cold weather - really, really cold weather!

Today I was walking around the city centre and noticed that in the council flower beds there were flowers and lots of daffodil stems making their way out of the ground.

I am also still seeing the odd insect around.

We so need a bit of winter to reset everything.

I know it's not going to be popular with everyone, but is this a real effect of global warming?

I have not had my heating on yet !!

I agree we need a cold snap to kill off all the bugs flying around ....plus , I like snow

I should have taken photographs (maybe tomorrow) but I saw numerous bunches of daffodils poking out of the ground. If we do get a cold snap I suspect they will just die off.

Will they come back in Spring?

I still had some pelegoniums ( in pots ) flowering right up to Christmas EC .....it's a very strange winter .....that's for sure !!!
