“I’m sure the fans over the last week have felt let down by what they’ve read and seen. But my position was from concern over the future. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it’s up to me through my performances to win them over again.”
Reckon it was all about money and the greedy sod won in the end-- bet the fans wont forget though about this or the fact that you cant keep your todger at home.

Unless someone is going to bring socialism back later on, he or his agent have done a marvellous job within the current constraints of the Market.

I don't think there's any going back, in fact I don't think there's any going back with the Torries. They are now dominating for a decade or more and we * the socialists, are going to grubb around for slip ups. My (new invention) is to get politicions across the board, inluding actors and then see if we can raise a voice to the bloomiong Government.

Apparently he's now on £250k a week... making him the highest paid player in the world.

Amazing how one player can become bigger than the club, we had the same issue with Robinho... he came in with the "Sign this player or im off" attitude and soon got sent off to Santos.

If he continues to play sh*te the press will slaughter him, its damn selfish of him to be demanding that sort of wages knowing his clubs already struggling financially. Then he has the nerve to complain about the lack of world-class players coming in? Even Messi isnt on that money... and he manages to bring the goods for Barcelona week in week out.

He made a monumental mistake, with or without his mananger. He slags off the players and the manager for having no ambition. What a knob. He knows the club, he knows himself and he knows Fergy. What drove him to be exposed as a complete tool?

He'd already been exposed as a cheating, misogynistic, shallow, uncaring, thinks-women-are-commodities, thick tool?

So he thought "in for a penny in for a (squillion) pound?"

Sorry I know nowt about football...but I'm not keen on his views towards wimmin.

Hubby loves footie, to me it's uterly boring, "yawn" From what I've picked up by hubby putting Sports Channel on the tv Wayne's now agreed to stay with his team, personally couldn't care less. From what I understand since his personal problems have come to light he's not scored goals for England or his team, personally sick of all the hype of so called celebs whatever they're background whether music or sport. I prefer the "stars" of yesterday

He and his agent have managed to increase his weekly wage from 90,000 poond to 180,000 poond. He couldn't care less whether you think he is a tool or not. Pretty surreal, huh?

Regressive of the week:

Wayne Rooney, whose grubby, unseemly conduct shamed himself, his profession, and his sport. In the week in which millions of young people faced up to a bleaker, less prosperous future in the wake of the coalition’s savage cuts to schools, universities and jobs, Rooney’s selfish behaviour, culminating in him signing a new contract this afternoon, showed football at its greediest, irresponsible worst and made the great game that little bit less beautiful.

I don't generally dislike people very much, but I will make an exception for Rooney. What an A 1 nasty piece of smelly stuff. He's no better than Gazza, having a couple of spurts of good form, but mainly useless. Also useless in the real world, if he can't appreciate that he has a woman who doesn't stay with him for the money or his looks, why is he grubbing around to muck it all up? No fibre, wont ever make a good footballer.
